The Royal Institute of Oil Painters Annual Exhibition 29 November to 16 December 2023 David's painting 'Waters Edge' will be showing at the Annual Exhibition of the Royal Institute of Oil Painters at the Mall Galleries, London. The Royal Institute of Oil Painters was founded in 1882 and is the only major British art society that promotes and exhibits work of the highest standard exclusively in oil paint. This year, the Royal Institute of Oil Painters Annual Exhibition once again showcases the work of many of the most exciting young painters alongside the work of more established names. It is an opportunity to gauge the continued evolution of oil painting in this country and to see how it is a fundamental and vital part of the wider art world. |
Royal Society of Marine Artists Annual Exhibition 22 September to 1 October 2023 David's painting 'Moonlit' will be showing at the Annual Exhibition of the Royal Society of Marine Artists at the Mall Galleries, London. The RSMA exhibits art inspired by the sea and marine environment, including harbours and shorelines, traditional craft and contemporary shipping, creeks, beaches, wildlife - in short anything that involves tidal water. The exhibition is widely recognised as a showcase for the best in contemporary marine art. David is a former winner of the prestigious The Charles Pears Award for an outstanding work by a non-member. |
